A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HALF HALT HORSE

Our day usually starts at sun up with breakfast which consists of chaff, lucerne, nuts ( or owners requirements ) followed by a substantial feed of hay before we are put out into the paddocks for roughly 4-5 hours per day. At roughly 3pm we are returned to our large 12 x 6m white sand filled yards. We are rugged as required and our waters are always kept clean and fresh.  Dinner is at approximately 5pm which consists of chaff, lucerne, nuts, sun flower seeds, salt and of course carrots ( or owners requirements). The owners here treat us very equal it really is, as if we are theirs.
